Graystone Winery

Graystone Winery

Founded in 2001, this small boutique-style winery specializes in Port.  Named for the gray, majestic shale bluffs surrounding the Grand Valley and Colorado River, Graystone is also close to wild horse country.  These bluffs and mesas are still home to a large band of wild horses.  Truly the wild, wild West and awesome Wine Country.  Visit us and enjoy award-winning Port while taking in the incredible scenery surrounding the Grand Valley.

We are located on Highway 6 on the Palisade side of the overpass to Clifton, the Tasting Room and Gift Shop are open daily.  From I-70, take Exit 37 and turn left at the first intersection.

Kingman Winery

Kingman Winery

The Kingman Winery started with a dream, 10 acres and a barn in the Grand Valley of the Colorado River, near Palisade. Really, it started with a dream and a strong desire to create Colorado Wines that are equal to, or better, than wines from other great wine producing regions throughout the world.

The unique climate and soil conditions in the Grand Valley of Colorado yield a grape with outstanding characteristics enabling the production of uniquely exquisite wines.

Mountain Spirit Winery

Mountain Spirit Winery

Mountain Spirit Winery opened in 1995 and is a family-owned and operated boutique winery nestled in the high country of the Upper Arkansas River Valley. We produce premium wines on five acres of farmland with apple orchards and an old homestead, surrounded by 14,000-foot mountain vistas. The grapes are trucked in after being freshly picked from the Western Slope vineyards of Colorado.

Co-vintners Terry and Michael Barkett bring state of the art equipment and educational backgrounds of clinical medicine and computer science to Mountain Spirit’s winemaking. This winery is trying to answer the question: “Everyone has a Merlot and Chardonnay. Do you have anything different to offer?” We continue to explore new blends of wines while maintaining high standards inherent to the gentle art of winemaking, which gives rise to our motto:

“Quality wines with a difference.”

Due to the overwhelming popularity of Mountain Spirit Wines they are only available to the public through the website, directly from the winery or gallery, or the Twisted Cork Cafe in Salida.
